Early Careers Webinar Programme

Assessing risks to surface water receptors from land contamination sources
(Helen McMillan & Frances Gregory – Tuesday 25/11/25 at 1pm)

An overview of how to assess risks to surface water receptors from sources of land contamination within the requirements of LCRM. It will include: consideration of pathways by which surface water may be impacted from land contamination sources; data to collect to inform your risk assessment; climate change considerations; selection of appropriate water quality standards; M-BAT assessment and DQRA. Case studies will be included to demonstrate examples of best practice when assessing risks to surface waters.
